A Roma family on the move in southeastern Transylvania. Until relatively recently the Roma were commonly called "Gypsies," although this term is now discouraged due to an assumption by some that it has accumulated pejorative connotations (even though some Roma people still prefer the traditional term). I provide a brief history of the Roma people in my previous work, Dreaming of Wolves.
